Champion Juicer

The Champion G5-PG710 Commercial Heavy Duty Juicer is a masticating juicer which can provide a variety of fruit juices, ice creams and sorbets as well as nut butters, sherbets, baby food and lots more. It is a juicer which has the power and durability to provide you with the health benefits of juicing for many years.  In fact some customers have reported their juicers are still faithfully working after 20 or more years of constant juicing.

The Champion G5-PG710 Juicer is made in the US and runs on 110 V/60 hertz, but is also available in 220 V/50 hertz for countries outside the US.  It also comes with a powerful motor and has a heavy duty front and rear ball bearing installation which allows it to run more smoothly at the maximum RPM’s. The motor has added winding capacity which has the effect of increasing the starting torque and lets the motor run cooler. This increases the durability of the juicer, particularly when it is used heavily.

It is important to realize that this juicer is not suitable for juicing grasses or large pieces of greens.  It is more efficient for the pieces to be small so that they feed through into the juicer and processed properly.

Performance

This Champion is designed in such a way so as to produce the highest possible quality juices and foods. The juice is dark in color which indicates it contains more pigments and nutrients. Conversely, the extracted pulp is a pale color. The taste of the juice also reflects this as it will be rich, sweet and full bodied compared to other juices.

One particular performance feature that customers love is the floating cutter which acts to separate juice from pulp in one quiet, continuous and effortless operation, with the added bonus of not needing to stop and clean out the machine during processing.

Materials

The juicer is made of stainless steel construction and the blades are made of tempered stainless steel which have been cast directly into the cutter. This ensures strength and durability which effectively allows for many years of use. They also never separate or fall prey to rust.

Type

This juicer is a commercial grade masticating juicer and will extract much more slowly than a centrifugal juicer. However the amount of juice extracted will be higher, as evidenced by the drier pulp.

Feed Type

The Champion juicer comes with a 1.75″ diameter feeding tube and this allows you to process larger vegetables without cutting them. It is advisable though, that you don’t try to force very large pieces of food through the system because it will extract more thoroughly if you use smaller pieces.

Output

With the Champion G5-PG710, you will be able to juice carrots, celery, parsley, cabbage, spinach, apples, tomatoes, bell peppers, kiwi, pineapple, melon and many more. It will also produce nut butters, frozen fruit sorbets, baby foods, ice creams, sherbets, purees, salsa, muesli, and more. A grain mill attachment which can be purchased separately will extend the output capability to include grains and flours.

Pulp

The pulp will be dry in nature, indicating that the maximum amount of juice has been extracted. It will also be pale in color.

Cleaning

The Champion commercial juicer is easy to use. Designed with simplicity in mind, the Champion doesn’t require nuts, bolts, screws or clamps. Assembly can be completed in seconds. Cleaning is equally quick and painless.
